I'm thrilled to share with you Susan Schwake's new book Art Lab for Kids. It is chock full of wonderfully creative art lessons including painting, drawing, printmaking, paper and mixed media. The book is a culmination of lessons she has taught over the past 20 years. Children of all ages will easily find a project that they connect with as will adults! I already have my eye on a few of them.
Along with the step-by-step process of each project, Susan spotlights a professional artist who works in that medium. I am so honored to be a part of the Lab 32 "Foamy Stamps" which teaches a kid-friendly way of making stamps and illustrates how they can be incorporated into works of art.
